The best three point shooter ever (a debate)

January 3rd, 2009

Over at the Slophouse, a writer muses whether or not Rotnel Clarke is the best three-point shooter ever and looks to Clarke’s coach, John Pelphrey, for insight.

Pelhrey was an assistant while Matt Bonner was at Florida and says Clarke is better (at shooting three’s) than Bonner and a list of other proficient long-bombers. Here’s an excpert:

Pelphrey has been around some pretty good shooters – Travis Ford while at Kentucky and guys like Teddy Dupay, Matt Bonner and Brett Nelson while an assistant at Florida.

“He’s the best,” Pelphrey said of Arkansas freshman Rotnei Clarke. “He’s better than all of them.”

Head on over there for the whole entry.
