Great radio interview in Toronto

January 15th, 2010

The Raptors radio colour commentator caught up with Bonner in the back hallway of the Air Canada Centre while in Toronto in early January. Amongst the topics of conversation are who’s to blame for his recent sickness (Washington DC), rehabbing his hand and the amount of tickets he hooked up for friends and family… Continue reading

Why the Raptors Suck

February 23rd, 2009

Our friends over at RaptorTalk.com have posted the top 12 reasons why the Raptors suck. It’s pretty funny and worth the link over for the entire list.

Reason number ten is “Need Matt Bonner to give KG another smackdown.” Matt seems like a nice guy and I’m sure he wouldn’t agree. But as a Raptors fan … man do they suck this year… Continue reading

I honestly thought when I saw this photo at thumbnail size, Bonner was making an attempt to bag the best player in the NBA… Continue reading

VIDEO – Matt Bonner’s interviewed about Mrs. Baird’s trip

January 25th, 2009

If you’re every curious as to why this site exists, this video sums it up. During a San Antonio Spurs practice, Matt was interviewed by some media. For the first minute he answers normal, boring basketball questions “What’s the mood of the team,” and stuff like that. Then at the 1:00 minute mark, someone asks him about a visit he made to a bread factory and he remarked that he… Continue reading

VIDEO – Matt and a first grade class visit Mrs. Baird’s

January 24th, 2009

Recently, Matt joined a first grade class on a tour of the Mrs. Baird’s bread factory. There are clips of him reading with kids, helping them make sandwiches (Matt’s reportedly a pro at eating them so making them can’t be too far off his skill set) and doing some geography lessons. The best part of this video is when he laments the fact the Mrs. Baird’s bread factory doesn’t have… Continue reading

Interview with Matt on Spurs Web site

January 20th, 2009

This is an interview from the Spurs NBA Web site. I’ve posted a few of the better Q&A’s here but the interview in its entirety isn’t half bad, so head on over there to read the whole thing.

Q: What was your biggest adjustment living in San Antonio besides the whole driving thing?

A: Definitely has to be driving. It’s totally… Continue reading

Matt answers questions from fans

January 17th, 2009

This is a year old but we are all about putting up the good Matt Bonner stuff, even if it’s old.

Exactly one year ago today (this is just coincidence we’re posting it on the anniversary – honest!) nba.com published fan questions with answers from Matt. What a nice relief to see answers… Continue reading

San Antonio lost its most eligible bachelor

January 14th, 2009

Hilarious! Forbes Magazine once (in 2007) named Matt Bonner San Antonio’s most eligible bachelor. That’s great. Great for people who like funny things and not great for all those ladies who moved to SanAn with the hopes of hooking up with The Red Rocket.

Watch out Nadia, there are plenty of ladies… Continue reading

Bonner not above bribary to get in three-point-shooting contest at all-star game

January 11th, 2009

Matt Bonner told Jeff McDonald of mysanantonio.com that he’s considering sending Stu Jackson, the executive vice-president of basketball operations and man responsible for choosing who participates in the three-point shooting contest at the all-star game, some flowers or a cookie bouquet to sweeten Jackson on putting Bonner in the contest.

We suggest Matt send a… Continue reading
