I received an e-mail from brother Luke Bonner today. The MySpace site we came across that we thought was Matt Bonner’s isn’t his at all. It’s someone posing as Matt Bonner!

Ghost celebrities can be super-funny … when they are people like Shaq and Paris Hilton, but Bonner is an everyday dude who happens to have a pretty sweet gig in the NBA. Luke says he’s contacted the operator of the page to take it down or at the very least make it obvious that it’s not Matt, but to no avail.

Apparently Matt isn’t a big social networking guy or even into instant messaging (please tell us you at least text message – you’re an NBAer – you guys pretty much invented it!). However, he does endorse these two pages that are setup to promote Sneakers for Speakers (note – this event is not happening this year, Luke is focusing on a European basketball career and Matt and Nadia are expecting their first baby … so yeah … there’s not a whole lot of time left over).
