Morning Roundup – Bonner accused of intellectual property theft!
There’s a guy from San Antonio who has a blog, the Turkey Sandwich Report, who is accusing Bonner of stealing his idea about the sandwich hunter blog. Here’s what he posts on his blog:
Sure, I could get pissy about this and rip on him for obviously copying my blog idea, but I’m not going to do that. Nope. I’m going to welcome the competition. In fact, I have already extended the Olive Branch to Matt Bonner and requested an interview to be featured right here on The Turkey Sandwich Report.
Don’t do it, Matt, you may both love sandwiches but this guy clearly already IS pissy. And clearly he doesn’t know about the long history of your love affair with sandwiches that dates back to your rookie year in Toronto.
A journo for Matt’s hometown rag, The Concord Monitor, has pretty much detailed Bonner’s life this year from having the baby to breaking his hand and the aforementioned sandwich blog.
The last few months have been uniquely eventful for Matt Bonner. Concord’s NBA representative has himself a new baby, a new blog and a new claw.
Author, Tim O’Sullivan even brings up Matt’s job at F&P Convenience and Deli in Concord. We’re going back to high school with this one.
Mike Monroe over at Mysanatonio.com has this report on Bonner getting back to 100% comfort level now that he’s returned from injury:
“It takes time,” he said. “Obviously, missing a month where I can’t use my shooting hand it’s going to take a little time to get out there and back in my rhythm.”
And finally – over at eBay there is an auction for a signed 8×10 of Bonner going in for a massive layup (as pictured above). Gold.
